TFCU continues to expand across the Sun City! We broke ground on our ninth branch in Northwest El Paso (located at 1556 Resler Dr.) on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.
We received a warm welcome by the community, including Canutillo Independent School District Superintendent Dr. Pedro Galaviz and support from the University of Texas at El Paso.
(TFCU CEO & President, Max Villaronga speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony.)
Our future Northwest branch will be located at 1556 Resler Dr. and will offer a three-lane drive-thru, deposit ATM, and will create new jobs for the community. TFCU has proudly been part of El Pasoans lives for 83 years! What started as a credit union by seven educators with a mere $3,000 has evolved to eight full services branches (almost nine!).
(TFCU Board of Directors prepare for the groundbreaking.)
The new branch will include environmentally friendly properties, and as a bonus to the community, the building will incorporate an RGB color light feature that will be activated at night to make the glazed entrance of the building resemble an ambient color changing gem in the desert.
(Team members view building renderings.)
Thank you to everyone who braved the sun rays to watch TFCU history in the making!
